Around The World:: Paris, France

Thursday, March 22nd, 2012 by admin

Paris, France
, a city that transports visitors from the Eiffel Tower to the Notre-Dame, is a place that has something to offer everyone. The ultimate five star hotel is the Park Hyatt Paris, situated in the heart of the city. The hotel is one of a kind and known for its up to date technology and special offers. The luxurious imperial suite as pictured below, features a dining room, bar and whirlpool in large square footage. Le Meurice is a beautiful restaurant giving visitors an expensive but first class dining experience. The interior walls and tables feel like the Palace of Versailles. The Louvre Museum is another monument rich in history. Known as the World’s Oldest Museum, featured works of art include pieces from the French Revolution and beyond. A glass pyramid attracts visitors inside through the exterior glass pyramid. The building itself is truly a work of art! Among the variety of shopping districts including boutiques and chain stores is the street, Champs Elysees. Upscale stores such as Cartier and Hugo Boss line the street. Finally, the Dior Institut is a unique spa offering specific treatments for the face and body. Immaculately clean and elegant, the Institut lives up to its name and reputation of showcasing terrific service!

Around The World:: Santa Barbara

Thursday, March 15th, 2012 by Nicole of JustKimOnline.com

Our next destination spot takes us to Santa Barbara, California, a place known for its undeniable beauty on the Pacific Ocean. As a California native born in Santa Barbara, my family and I have seen how visitors come to relax in a city full of art, culture and glamour. With many accommodations, Bacara Resort and Spa in nearby Goleta is ranked among the best. The design of the resort is clean and sophisticated, with each suite boasting ocean and mountain views. It is the perfect spot for weddings and parties. Brophy Bros. Seafood Restaurant is a favorite spot for local’s, known for their excellent clam chowder. Voted Best Seafood Restaurant, Brophy’s also showcases views of the harbor. Take a drive just miles away to the Santa Ynez mountains for the day. Located there are some of the greatest wineries such as Sustainable Vine, which offers visitors tours and wine tastings. Meanwhile in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara, visitors will embark on State Street, a favorite place to shop for high end goods and speciality boutiques. Nearby is the Paseo Nuevo mall where the shopping continues. Santa Barbara is also known for many luxurious spa’s, including Float, a day spa that offers amazing packages. Located close to the shops along State Street, the perfect way to end the day is receiving a massage or facial at Float. The weather of Santa Barbara is mild which is why there are a significant amount of outdoor activities. From horseback riding to kayaking, there is something to offer every visitor. My personal recommendation is taking a stroll down the boardwalk in a Wheel Fun Bike Rental for the day. Other notable spots that all visitors must see during their stay include the Santa Barbara Mission and Courthouse, Butterfly Beach and Farmers Market.

Wheels up! Next stop, Santa Barbara.

Nicole

Around The World:: Little Palm Island, Florida

Thursday, March 8th, 2012 by admin

Located in the Florida Keys is Little Torch Key, a place to get away from it all with that special someone. Relatively unknown to many and quite remote, visitors that frequent the island are looking for a place to unwind. It’s perfect for doing absolutely nothing except lounging on the beach, drink in hand, reading a good book. Little Palm Island is the most luxurious resort in the area. The suites are literally steps away from the beach, where weddings take place regularly. Looe Key National Marine Sanctuary showcases some of the most unique fish in the world and is the best place for snorkeling and scuba diving. Mangrove Mama’s Restaurant is located in nearby Summerland Key serving a variety of fish, but well known for their key lime pie. Ending the day back at the Little Palm Island Spa is where visitors can receive first class treatments overlooking the beautiful water.

Next stop Little Palm Island, Florida.

Known as the Magic Isles, Maui, Hawaii takes visitors on a journey filled with surf, sand and sun. Among the variety of accommodations, the Fairmont Kea Lani offers visitors a newly renovated resort. If you want to golf or lounge by the multiple pools, the Kea Lani offers a place to unwind. Skyview Soaring showcases the best views of Maui from a seaplane. Leaving from Hana airport, the ride lasts either thirty minutes to an hour, while viewing the Maui coast and volcanoes.The Shops at Wailea is located in Wailea Resort and presents some of the best shopping on the island. From art galleries to luxury brands and real estate, a variety of goods can be found. For lunch or dinner, Mama’s Fish House is considered a must for any visitor. The price leans toward the high range, but the atmosphere and food is well worth it. Grand Wailea Resort offers a great spa with ocean views. Also it doesn’t hurt that Grand Wailea was voted “Top 10 Spas in the US” by Conde Nast.

Around The World:: Santorini, Greece

Upon arriving in Santorini, Greece, visitors find that it is just as picturesque in person as it is in the movies. Travel accommodations range but based on rave reviews, the Grace Santorini Hotel is the ultimate place to stay. Boasting some of the best views and modern suites, an additional highlight is the infinity pool which overlooks the Caldera. Clean, fresh, and futuristic are a few of the characteristics of Grace, a place that is filled with luxury. Among the numerous outdoor activities, Santorini Sailing gives visitors a chance to explore the Aegean Sea. A speciality is the sunset cruises, which lets those on board swim and dine while taking in views of nearby beaches and lighthouses.

Diverse shops line the streets of Santorini, but in particular Gold Street is filled with quality clothing, jewelry and accessories. A highlight is Meandros Gold, a jewelry store offering the finest and most unique bracelets, necklaces, earrings and gold in all of Santorini. Enjoy a romantic setting while dining at Ambrosia, a top rated restaurant. Located on a cliffside terrace, Mediterranean cuisine and wine can be enjoyed over spectacular views. Ending the day at Katikies, visitors can enjoy the ultimate spa treatment, a showcase of the best Santorini has to offer!
