When we think about the attributes that we admire in other women, they’re simple: a woman who is kind with her words and actions, who treats others how she wants to be treated. A woman who is giving of her time, emotions and energy, but never forgets to give back to herself as well. A woman who works to see change, not just someone who talks about the possibilities behind closed doors. We admire a woman who tasks risks and plunges herself into the unknown. We admire women who are fighters, who never take no as an answer and who won’t stop until they see the outcome they desire. We like a woman who fights for other women, even complete strangers, because she knows that sometimes the injustice is too loud to stay silent. We admire mothers, and those who are selfless enough to give up their own desires for the betterment of their children. We admire women that are great at what they are trying to do. We admire women who see their talents and abilities and ask how they can use them to change the world. We admire a woman who knows she’s beautiful, because you really truly are.
Let’s become that woman. The woman who deserves all the admiration and adoration in the world. The women that make change and demand respect. Yes, it’s within all of us, so don’t stop until you’re there.
