I love a deep red lipstick for Fall/Winter just as much as the next girl, but sometimes I want to go the more natural route. As soon as the weather gets colder, my skin starts to get dry and a bit more temperamental. So the idea of putting on a glittery shadow and a full-on lip seems like the opposite of what my skin wants and needs. I’ve been gathering a bit of editorial inspiration and I think my go-to makeup look this season will be a more natural, contoured one. I’ll keep the brows bold, the cheeks and lips understated, and I’ll decide whether to focus on my eyes depending on my mood and where I’m going. So what’s your go-to beauty look for Fall/Winter? Here’s some inspiration in case you haven’t decided yet…
Yesterday, my sister woke me up at 8am asking if I had been to Target yet. I was still sleeping, but I immediately started freaking out that I hadn’t been there when the doors opened. Luckily, I was able to grab some excellent pieces when I finally did go, but I missed all of the bags. Did you guys get anything? What are your favorite pieces from the collection? I’m obsessed with all of the leopard pieces.
Fashion Week is in full swing at Lincoln Center and I can hardly tear my eyes away from our computers/iPhones/iPads. There’s just so much to see! Have you been following the shows? Do you have a favorite yet? I’m always partial to DVF and Naomi Campbell in that black and gold Gatsby-esque number was just too good. And don’t even get me started on the pretty/preppy feel of Kate Spade’s presentation. Is it Spring yet?!
