Here’s the truth: we’re completely obsessed with skincare, and we have no intentions of changing. We feel like we use the word “obsessed” too frequently, but some things in life really are just THAT amazing. With that being said, have you ever tried any of these products? Because we’re completely obsessed. I guess we should go back one step and mention that we’re obsessed with doing anything to have that younger, softer, glowing skin that everyone desires, and when we find products we like, we’re loyal for life. We feel like all women should start the New Year off with a skin care regimine they believe in, so we’re going to give you a little beauty behind-the-scenes of what products the women at POSH cannot stop raving about, so that we can help you create your perfect, daily, skincare obsessed routine.

La Prairie “Anti-Aging Necessities”-$200

Raise your hand if you’re worried about age lines, wrinkles and sun damage? Now raise your other hand if you’ve ever wondered what to do about how dry your skin gets in the Winter and how fast your skin is losing elasticity the older you get? Oh good, you have both hands up, now go immediately to their website and purchase this kit. (Which, btw, is a stellar deal! a $293 value for only $200! Huge!) We kid you not, right hand on the Posh manifesto, you will see a difference in your skin in a matter of days. La Prairie are the answer to all your moisture needs!

Boscia “Luminizing Black Mask”- $34

If you follow many beauty blogs, then you no doubt have seen the rave reviews for this product across the internet. We’re sort of mask junkies around here, and this is easily the best one we’ve ever tried. We found Boscia while looking for a preservative-free skincare line ( and also something that would work well for sensitive skin), and so long as we both shall live, Boscia and us will live in a happily wedded bliss. The Luminizing Mask is a thick, black, tar-like texture that you put over your entire face, you wait 15 minutes and then you peel it off. (Which, we should note, is seriously really fun.) It pulls out all the hidden dirt and dead skin cells, and leave your skin glowing and beyond soft to the touch.  Use it 2-3 times a week and you won’t be able to get enough of how gorgeous your skin looks. It seriously is as great as we’re making it sound.

We also love their Clarifying Detox Mask, their Skin Refining Treatment and their Balancing Facial Tonic. We promise you won’t be disappointed with their products.

Bobbi Brown “Protective Face Lotion” -$48-$78

The hype about SPF is not just hype, it’s necessity. (Read up on just why it’s so important here, if you’re unaware) The way we look at it is this, if we can do something as simple as buy a fabulous product to help protect our skin from aging, sun spots and cancer, then it’s silly to not! We have fallen completely in love with this Bobbi Brown “Protective Face Lotion”, because it keeps our skin protected and moisturized through these long winter months where our skin feels so dry that it might just fall off. It’s full of vitamin E and chamomile, and works GREAT as a makeup primer! It’s so easy and works so well that you’ll forget that you’re fighting skin cancer every day that you put it on!

Laura Mercier “Flawless Skin Repair Serum”- $95

This is a product that we absolutely swear by. Intended to protect and repair damaged or dried out skin, it works like a little present from the Heaven’s above. Comprised of proteins and botanical boosts, this product works perfectly for old dark spots on your skin by improving cell turnover and creating better skin elasticity. It also works like a cure-all for those wrinkles and fine lines that you wish never showed up. We do not have enough good things to say about this miracle in a bottle. You simply must try it for yourself to find out why we love it so much.

Olay “Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System”- $29.99

We can admit that we’re suckers for cool technology, and when cool technology is combined with a promise to create younger, more flawless skin, you know that we can’t turn it down. This product is similar to the Clarisonic brush that the world has gone nuts over for the past few years, only it’s $170 cheaper, and works just as excellently. It is designed to clean your skin 6 times better than basic cleansing by rotating up to 350 times/minute to cleanse away and exfoliate dirt, dead skin and makeup. It helps clear out those nasty little pores deep beneath your skin, so you can completely eradicate break-outs or problem areas before the situation even arises. It also opens your skin to receive and retain moisture better, so that awful dryness won’t occur. All you do is dampen your face, use the Pro-X Facial Cleanser that comes with the product, and then move the cleansing brush around your face for about a minute, and won’t be able to believe how clean  and smooth your skin feels.  For only $30, this product is something you have no excuse not to try. It really worked magic on our skin.
